IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR YEAR 11 PARENTS/CARERS
GCSE exam contingency day is WEDNESDAY 29TH JUNE 2022
This date has been set by JCQ as a contingency day, should sustained national or local disruption arise during the Summer 2022 examination series. If disruption occurs, the GCSE exams (or equivalent) would be taken either for the first time or again on any date up to and including the contingency day.
Students taking public examinations should not plan to go on holiday before the 30th June regardless of when their last exam takes place.
This is a JCQ decision and applies to all students taking GCSE exams (or equivalent) in Summer 2022 in all schools and colleges.
