Etonbury Academy Sixth Form Dress Code

We will not have a uniform and we will not require business dress. We want students to be comfortable so they can learn to the best of their ability. However, the expectation is of an appropriate style of dress that is compatible with the positive culture of the Sixth Form we wish to see at Etonbury.

The guidelines include:

  • Jeans and general attire should be smart, please no rips, holes or large slogans

  • Headgear should be removed in school buildings unless required for religious purposes

  • Sportswear should not be worn - students taking sport qualifications will have their own guidelines

  • Clothing should not be see through and should cover shoulders, chest, midriff and thighs.

  • Footwear should be appropriate for the school and learning community (no flip flops/sliders)

  • Students who  do not comply with the above dress code will be asked to go home and change.
