Notice of Exam Contingency Day - Wednesday 24th June 2020
The qualification regulators, JCQ and government departments responsible for education have jointly agreed that an Exam Contingency Day is introduced in the event of national or local disruption to the examinations system affecting a significant number of candidates.
The Exam Boards have designated Wednesday 24th June 2020 as the contingency day for summer 2020. All students must therefore remain available to sit their examinations up to and including Wednesday 24th June 2020 should as exam board need to invoke its contingency plan.
GCSE Examination Results - Thursday 20th August 2020
The school will be open from 08.00 until 12.00 for students to collect their GCSE results. These can be obtained from the school hall where staff will be on hand with any guidance that you might need.
If you are unable to come into school to collect your exam results, we will post them to you provided you have supplied a stamped addressed A5 envelope. This should be handed in to the Exams Office before the end of the summer term. Alternatively, if you would like a friend or relative to collect them on your behalf, you must provide them with a letter of authorisation and ask them to bring some form of ID on the day.

JCQ, the body who regulates all external exams, produces rules and guidance for all candidates. Please familiarise yourself with these rules, as the consequences can be severe if any are broken. All documents can be found below.
