Etonbury Academy

School Houses

Etonbury Academy has four Houses – Carters, Thatchers, Forresters, and Saddlers. These are historic to the school and represent ancient crafts and trades from the area.

The houses are represented in the four quadrants of the school shield.

Regular inter-house competitions, challenges, sports events and more are a feature of student life at Etonbury.

Students are proud of their Houses, and some are even in the same house their parents and grandparents were a part of when they attended the school.

House points are awarded throughout the year, and merits added to the totals. This is celebrated throughout the year during House Assemblies. The annual Sports Day sees a culmination of the yearly competitions.
